I received my paycheck for this week. The coming Tuesday I will be executing the following orders into my taxable account (see table above). I was spared from the layoffs from my company, and am quite certain that I will be fine for the time being until the end of the year before the next announcement, so I will continue my routine of my investing in companies while maintaining my moderate cash position.

Also, Altria (MO) has boosted their dividend yet again by 8%. I am very pleased and decided to pickup some shares since the price has pulled back nicely from its highs.

I will have also funds available in my 401k for purchases. I will have around $1470 in cash that I will use to purchase a utility. I am eyeing NEE or WEC at the moment. Expect another announcement in my 401k in the coming days.

    I'm sorry to hear about the layoff woes. That must be a stressful situation.

    Looks like some solid stocks you're buying -- they're familiar tickers although I own just MO at the moment!
